When you view a property for rent, present well. You want a property manager to think you will take good care of your home even things such as having a tidy, well-kept car may make a difference!
Take references from former landlords and your employer. They don’t need to be in-depth but should say that you are reliable, honest and trustworthy.
You may want to take pay slips or other proof of income to reassure a property manager that you will be able to pay the rent. Include copies of inspection reports from previous tenancies, if you have them.
